Some Great Fireworks in our Neighborhood this year. Very thankful of the show our neighbors put on.

What a fun wedding! Amy and Aaron are two of the most brilliant people you will meet.

Amy is a professional business woman in Medford OR. I've had the pleasure of doing some professional work for her. Today she walked into my studio wearing this cute hat, and we just had to get some pics. 

One last fair weather shoot with a great family. The Scholes. They made it easy and fun with the energy they had. We wanted to get some family shots, and maybe some school-year-type photos of the boys. We ended up running around and playing in the leaves. I have to say, one of my favorite shoots. Great people.

Most anybody who has an interest in off camera lighting usually finds the strobist website at some point. With a load of great info, the site has an extensive amount of DIY stuff. Wanting to try something new (for me), I made one of the DIY ring flashes from the site for a different kind of look. While the ring flash has had it's day, and has been a bit overused,

We live in a neighborhood where one of our very generous neighbors sets up a fantastic fireworks show. On his own, and out of his pocket. And it's awesome. And I don't mean just the fireworks. The entire neighborhood comes out, and it's a great time to connect with people. My kids love it. My dog even loves it. Thank you to our neighbors for putting this on!
